Four Roses Small Batch named one of the “Best Whiskies in the World”

Congrats, Four Roses!

Four Roses Distillery again was named among the top spirits at the annual World Whiskies Awards, but this time it was Four Roses Small Batch taking the honors.

Four Roses Small Batch, a marriage of four of the 10 unique recipes produced by the distillery, was named “Best American Whiskey: Bourbon Seven Years and Under.” The awards will be featured in Whisky magazine’s July issue.

Four Roses Small Batch brought home the award following a three-round blind tasting competition of more than 300 whiskies from around the world. The competition was chaired by Whisky Magazine Editor Rob Allanson and included judges drawn from the best drinks journalists and retailers across the world.

Just wait a few years and Old Grand Dad and Old Crow bottled in bond will make a come back. Granny liked her Old Grand Dad and milk before bed time. She lived to be 102 and chewed Red Man and Mail Pouch. The Louisville Times reported she was DOA at General Hospital because of a lack of a heart beat. Yup, that’l kill ya.
